Great Plains College (Swift Current Campus) will be hosting a “University Admission Night" on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 3:30-7:30 p.m. in the Student Lounge. Join Great Plains College, the University of Regina and University of Saskatchewan for an Admission-on-the-Spot event where potential applicants can receive assistance with the application process, submit their application and have it processed, all in one evening!
The University of Regina will be waiving their application fee for the evening (a savings of $100), offering free housing applications, scholarship information and admission on-the-spot for certain programs (students applying to some competitive-entry programs, such as Nursing, cannot be admitted the night of the event). Eligible on-the-spot acceptance programs include:
• Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business Administration
• Faculty of Education (excluding Bac. After Degree, Indigenous Education and Joint BMUSED program)
• Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science
• Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies
• Faculty of Media, Art & Performance
• Faculty of Science
• Faculty of Social Work (Pre-Social Work only).
The University of Saskatchewan will be offering information about student housing, scholarships and assistance with the application process.
Who can attend?
• Current grade 12 students
• High school graduates or mature applicants
• Students who have taken other post-secondary education
• Students with international documents
