The Community Innovator Award is sponsored by Innovation Credit Union. Great Plains College students are invited to submit innovative and implementable community engagement ideas. Up to two awards of $2,000 each will be provided to applicants who contribute unique, creative and possible ideas. Students must be enrolled in or accepted to a full-time student, loan-eligible program to be considered.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a Great Plains College full-time, post-secondary program. The applicants must be current Innovation Credit Union members. Potential applicants who are not Innovation Credit Union members can stop any advice centre/branch location or apply online for a free No-Fee Account to qualify. Applicants must also brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas for Innovation Credit Union to become more actively engaged in the communities in which they serve. These ideas can vary in scope and reach — a focus must be on unique, creative and implementable ideas.
