Rachael and her husband, Curtis, live in the Swift Current area along with their three children, who attend Stewart Valley School. Eliason also attended Stewart Valley School and graduated from Swift Current Comprehensive High School. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master’s degree in Soil Science from the University of Saskatchewan.  She owned and operated an agricultural research company in the Southwest for over a decade and currently works as a consultant for the Farm Land Security Board.  

A Trustee’s primary role should be to act as the voice of local schools, students and families at the division level. That will always be my top priority. As an experienced board member, business owner, and especially as a mom, I am ready to represent the students and families of this area. I am committed to being a strong voice for the unique needs of rural schools and I am eager to be a part of making our schools better places for students to learn and grow, for educators to teach and nurture, and for families and communities to be meaningfully engaged and supported.
