For bus cancellation notices, you can listen to the local radio station or check SC Online, and check the Chinook Facebook page or Twitter feed. This applies to cancellations in advance (for example: extreme weather). 

Ensure your children get on their bus in the morning and have a contingency (back-up transportation/residence) plan in the event the bus does not arrive due to unforeseen circumstances (such as a breakdown). Wait no more than 10-15 minutes before using your contingency plan, especially in cold weather.
