The Chinook Cyber School has been recognized by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Online Learning Network for creating exceptional online learning experiences for students. The ISTE Online Learning Network Award recognizes exceptional educators and leaders who are paving the way for transformational online and blended learning. ISTE creates the standards framework for the skills students should have in our current global environment.
When faced with the challenge of providing high school course options to our rural students, Chinook created our own online school. We serve only Chinook students with the belief that local teachers, local context and student support are the keys to online learning success. Over the past years Chinook Cyber School has advanced online learning, evolving from providing online content to building partnerships and creating learning environments for students.
