At Chinook School Division, our dedicated teachers and staff work together to ensure our students are learning and experiencing success at school. They recognize that it is a great privilege to teach and work with youth. 

 

As we reach the end of Back to School week and dive into a new and exciting school year, we want to share a special video created for Chinook Teachers at their Opening Day event on August 30th. 

 

Our educators are passionate about why they teach and why they work with kids. In the video you will hear from teachers who are now retired after spending a lifelong career working with children. They have gifted us with the perspective of looking back on an education career, offering their wisdom and experience to new colleagues who have recently arrived at our schools. Some of our newer teachers are also featured in the video to bring a fresh perspective and excitement as they embark on their career, hoping to have a meaningful impact on the children in their classrooms.

 

We have all had at least one teacher who inspired us, who challenged us and took a personal interest in us as students. Our educators are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children this year!
