Day 3

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Sydni Lindquist and Mrs. Tsougrianis.

• Ice Hut today during morning break for Grade 5 - 8 students.

• Today is Student / Staff Dress Up Day.  Students are encouraged to dress up as staff members and staff members are welcome to dress up as students 

• Library Club for Grade 8’s today.    During morning break, the 81’s will have access to the library and the 82’s will have it over the lunch break (12:00 - 12:25) Supervisor will be Ms. McWillie.

• Cst. Glasser from the City RCMP will be Irwin today and tomorrow to share a presentation with our Grade 7 and 8 students on the dangers of social media, social media and the law and different types of harassment and the law. Presentations will be as follows:

• Grade 7 - This Afternoon (71 - Periods 5 / 6; 72 - Periods 7 / 8)

• Grade 8 - Tomorrow Afternoon (82 - Periods 5 /6; 81 - Periods 7 / 8)

• Staff Meeting today after school at 3:30pm via Google Meet.

• Senior Girls Basketball team will host Herbert tomorrow after school

• Intermediate Girls will travel to Herbert for a game tomorrow after school

• Order Forms for the Burger King Meal day are due back this Friday.   Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.   No late orders will be accepted.

Upcoming Events:

• Valentines Day Spirit Day - February 14th - Everyone is invited to wear any of the Valentine’s Day Colours (Red, Pink, White, Purple)

• Pink Shirt Day - February 16th 

• Burger King Meal Day - February 18th.   

• February Break - February 21st - 25th 

• Classes Resume Monday, February 28th
