Day 5

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Arav Chaudhari, Vander Dyck, Arlen Henderson, Xena Van de Berg and Zion Van de Berg.

• Library Club for Grade 8’s today.    During morning break, the 81’s will have access to the library and the 82’s will have it over the lunch break (12:00 - 12:25) Supervisor will be Mrs. Weinbender.

• Last day of swimming lessons for Grade 6 students is today.

• Teachers, please have your classroom Taco Salad orders entered by the end of today.    Any staff who would like to order, please enter your name on the form that was shared yesterday.

• Our annual Remembrance Day service will take place virtually today during periods 3 and 4.  

• Remembrance Day tomorrow - No School for Students

• No School on Friday in lieu of Parent Teacher Conference

• Senior Girls Basketball tryouts will be Monday November 22 and Tuesday November 23.    Sign-up sheets will be posted outside of the office.

• Our Growing Smiles Winter Fundraiser will be open until Monday, November 22nd.   Please visit our school’s web page for more information, including our Growing Smiles team website to place your orders.  

• O. M. Irwin School is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Virtual Scholastic Book Fair this fall from November 15-26!

• The link to the Virtual Scholastic Book Fair website, where you can view a flyer to explore featured books and watch book trailer videos,  was sent home to families and can be found on our school’s webpage

• All orders are shipped to the school. Books will then be sent home with students (or picked up by parents/guardians if arrangements are made ahead of time).
