Day 4

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Chase Schwartz.

• Library Club for Grade 8’s today.    During morning break, the 82’s will have access to the library and the 81’s will have it over the lunch break (12:00 - 12:25) Supervisor will be Ms. Poh.

• Grade 6 students will continue their swimming lessons today and tomorrow.

• Taco Salad Meal Day forms are due back today.  Please hand in to your homeroom teachers.

• Picture Retake Orders are due back to school today. 

• Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this evening and will run from 4:00 - 7:00pm.  

• Our annual Remembrance Day service will take place virtually tomorrow during periods 3 and 4. 

• Students are encouraged to dress in formal attire. Poppies will be available for students to wear for our service. 

• Remembrance Day on Thursday - No School for Students

• No School on Friday in lieu of Parent Teacher Conference

• Senior Girls Basketball tryouts will be Monday November 22 and Tuesday November 23.    Sign-up sheets will be posted outside of the office.

• Our Growing Smiles Winter Fundraiser will be open until Monday, November 22nd.   Please visit our school’s webpage for more information, including our Growing Smiles team website to place your orders.  

• O. M. Irwin School is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Virtual Scholastic Book Fair this fall from November 15-26!

• The link to the Virtual Scholastic Book Fair website, where you can view a flyer to explore featured books and watch book trailer videos,  was sent home to families and can be found on our school’s webpage

• All orders are shipped to the school. Books will then be sent home with students (or picked up by parents/guardians if arrangements are made ahead of time).
