Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

  • Library Club for Grade 8’s today.    During morning break, the 82’s will have access to the library and the 81’s will have it over the lunch break (12:00 - 12:25) Supervisor will be Ms. Burnett.

  • Picture Retake Proofs were handed out to students on Monday.   Orders are due back to school on Tuesday, November 9th 

  • Lifetouch photo packages have arrived for those families who purchased school pictures.   They will be sent home with students today.

  • Grade 6 students will continue their swimming lessons today through to Friday and next week Monday to Wednesday.

  • Staff Meeting today after school and will begin at 3:30pm.

  • Shelter-In-Place Drill tomorrow morning at 11:20am.   

  • Parent Teacher Conferences will be held tomorrow and next week Tuesday and will take place from 4:00 - 7:00pm.

  • Due to the outbreak status, there will be no Ice Hut until further notice. 

  • Our Growing Smiles Winter Fundraiser is now open.   Information has been emailed home to families and can also be found on our school’s website..  

  • Our next Hot Meal Day will be held on Friday, November 19th from Country Hills Catering.   The meal will be Taco Salad.   Order forms will be sent home with students today and are due back on Tuesday, November 9th.

  • Our annual Remembrance Day service will take place virtually on Wednesday, November 10 in periods 3 and 4. 

    • Students are encouraged to dress in formal attire. Poppies will be available for students to wear for our service. 

    • Information about our Virtual Wall of Honour went out to families this week. Photo submissions can be emailed to Mrs. Thompson by Monday to be included in this year's presentation.

  • No School on Friday November 12th - in lieu of Parent Teacher Conference

  • November 15th is Camo Day!  The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) is inviting Saskatchewan residents to celebrate the tradition of hunting, angling, and trapping in the province. The SWF invites individuals and businesses to participate in honoring the Saskatchewan men and women impacting conservation  by wearing camouflage clothing during the Federation’s #CamoDay Celebration on November 15.
