Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Grade 6 immunizations this morning in the gym.

• Grade 7 and 8 intermediate girls volleyball players please meet today at first break in front of Mr. Graingers room. 

• Grade 4 Swimming Lessons will begin today and tomorrow, and next week Tuesday to Friday. 

• Meal Day forms for our October 15th meal day were sent home yesterday and due back to school tomorrow.  Please hand in to your homeroom teachers. 

•  Our first fire drill of the school year will take place this morning at 11:20am

• Deadline to order your Irwin School clothing will be Friday. Information, including the link to the website

• Teacher Convention on Friday - No School For students

• Thanksgiving Day Holiday on Monday October 12th - No School For students

• Irwin School raised $7847.45 for the Terry Fox Run, placing us among the top three fundraising schools in the province! Since we beat last year's total, Mr. Darby and Mr. Boyer will get to dye their hair in our school colours. The 71s were the class that raised the most money, so they got to choose who gets red and who gets black. Mr. Darby will be dyeing his hair red, and Mr. Boyer will be dyeing his hair black. Watch for their new looks coming soon! 

• Swift Current Band Parents Auxiliary AGM

• WHEN: Wednesday, October 13, 7:00 pm by Zoom

• All parents, guardians, and relatives of a band student in a Swift Current band program are welcome and encouraged to attend the AGM! We will provide an update on the plans for band students this year, how the Music Miles program works, and updates on fundraising.
