Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today toTy Francis, Rhett Haubrich and Ash Henderson.

• Girls Volleyball tryouts Wednesday after school 3:30 - 5:00pm

• Boys volleyball tryouts Thursday after school 3:30 - 5:00pm

• As per the Chinook Return to Sports plans regarding spectators, parents/guardians will need to pick up their child outside of the main entrance and not enter the school. 

• Sign up sheets will be posted outside the office.   Please bring your own pen / pencil to sign

• Please hand in gym strip forms by this Friday

• Mask Reminders to Staff and Students:

• When Entering the School - Everyone wears a mask

• Everyone wears a mask in common areas (entrances, hallways, washrooms)

• In the classroom, wearing a mask is recommended

• On the bus, everyone wears a mask

• If anyone needs a mask, please come down to the office.

• Students are reminded to stay home if you are not feeling well.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

• Grade 2 Swimming lessons will begin on Monday September 20th.   Lessons will run as follows:

• Monday, September 20th - Thursday, September 23rd 

• Monday, September 27th - Thursday, September 30th 

• Lifetouch will be at Irwin the following days for the 2021 – 2022 School Photos:

• Thursday, September 23rd – Kindergarten (McWillie) – Grade 8 

• Friday, September 24th – Kindergarten (Dyck)

• Thursday, October 21st – Retake Day

• Our annual Terry Fox Run is Wednesday, September 29th. Information regarding our Terry Fox Run will be emailed to families today.  We are looking forward to another successful run!
