Day 1

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday to Elisha Smith and Danica Jackson who celebrated over the weekend.

• Girls Volleyball tryouts Wednesday after school

• Boys volleyball tryouts Thursday after school.

• Sign up sheets will be posted outside the office.   Please bring your own pen / pencil to sign

• Mask Reminders to Staff and Students:

• When Entering the School - Everyone wears a mask

• Everyone wears a mask in common areas (entrances, hallways, washrooms)

• In the classroom, wearing a mask is recommended

• On the bus, everyone wears a mask

• Reminder to students, if you arrive late to school in the morning and your designated entrance door is locked, please come to the front main doors of the school and check in with Mrs. Painchaud and Mrs. Hanson.

• Students are reminded to stay home if you are not feeling well.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

• Grade 2 Swimming lessons will begin on Monday September 20th.   Lessons will run as follows:

• Monday, September 20th - Thursday, September 23rd 

• Monday, September 27th - Thursday, September 30th 

• Lifetouch will be at Irwin the following days for the 2021 – 2022 School Photos:

• Thursday, September 23rd – Kindergarten (McWillie) – Grade 8 

• Friday, September 24th – Kindergarten (Dyck)

• Thursday, October 21st – Retake Day

• Our annual Terry Fox Run is Wednesday, September 29th. Information regarding our Terry Fox Run will be emailed to families today.  We are looking forward to another successful run!
