Day 1
TODAY AT IRWIN:.
Happy Birthday today to Layken Jones.
Active Play begins this week - Grade 1 - 2 Students will begin today and Grade 3 - 5 students will begin tomorrow. Students signed up for Active Play will meet in the foyer at the end of the day and will go as a group with their United Way supervisor to board the City Bus and will be taken to the Rec Centre.
Halloween Celebrations will take place on Friday. Details will be as follows:
Dress up day as usual
Students are not allowed to wear Halloween masks. Limit the props from home
If students are dressing up they must come to school in costume and have it be something that they can easily wear and keep on.
There will be no parades this year.
Mr. Kohlman, Mrs. Tsougrianis and Mrs. Painchaud will be coming around in period 5 to do a costume contest. They will pick one winner from each class who will win a prize bag! There will be one grand prize winner who will receive a $10 gift card to Sputtergotch/gift bag.
In period 6 we will be hosting virtual BINGO. There will be prize bags awarded to the winners.
Period 7/8, classes are welcome to plan for their own celebrations to finish off the day. This may include a movie, games, etc...
