Day 3

TODAY AT IRWIN:. 

• There will be a Fire Drill today and on Friday morning.   Both drills will be held at 11:20am   

• The “new” end of school day dismissal times are now in effect: 

• Students getting picked up or walking home will be dismissed at 3:10.  

• Students taking the bus will be dismissed at 3:15.  

• The bells have been changed to reflect the new dismissal times. 

• School Picture Retakes will be on Friday and will begin at 12:45pm.   Any students from Mrs. Dyck’s Kindergarten class that will require retakes are welcome to come Friday afternoon after 12:45pm.   Parents will need to call the office and screen in upon arrival.

• Active Play will begin next week - Wednesday, October 28th for Grade 1 - 2 students and Thursday, October 29th for Grade 3 - 5 students.   Students that are registered for Active Play will get on the City Bus at the end of the day and  will be taken to the Rec Centre.

• Teachers’ Convention - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS - October 26th 

• Halloween Celebrations - Friday, October 30th.   Stay tuned to announcements next week for more details.

• Virtual Remembrance Day Service - November 9th (tentative)

• Remembrance Day - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS - November 11th 

• Education Week - November 22nd - 28th 

• Bus Driver Appreciation Day - November 23rd 

• Parent-Teacher Conferences (4pm-7pm) - November 23rd / 25th 

• In Lieu of Parent-Teacher Conferences - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS - November 27th
