TODAY AT IRWIN:.
Happy Birthday today to Kasen Reid.
The deadline to register for the United Way Active Play program has been extended to Monday, October 19th. Information, including the online registration link was emailed again to families yesterday. Active Play will now begin on Wednesday, October 28th for Grade 1 - 2 students and Thursday, October 29th for Grade 3 - 5 students. .
Fire Drill Friday morning at 11:20am
The end of school day dismissal times will change effective Monday, October 19th.
Students getting picked up or walking home will be dismissed at 3:10.
Students taking the bus will be dismissed at 3:15.
The bells will be changed to reflect the new dismissal times.
An email has been sent to families detailing these changes.
Beginning Monday, we will begin having Open Gym at the morning recess and at noon hour for Grades 6-8 students. Homeroom teachers will discuss the new processes / protocols of open gym with their students. Open gym will be made available to the Grade 5 students at a later date. Due to conflicts with the elementary Phys Ed schedule, there will be no open gym during the afternoon recess.
