Day 5

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday Charleigh Giverhaug and Raylin Poh who celebrated over the weekend.  Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
  
   
• Store will be open today during morning break.
  
   
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Lauren Hanson and Micaela Pretorius.
  
   
• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Sydney Grainger, Mya Wiens and Michaela Pretorius.
  
   
• Pizza Order Forms for the December 20^th meal day will be sent home today.    Orders are due back on Thursday.   Please hand to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
• Senior Boys Basketball team will be having a mini tournament today after school
  
   
• Toast Tuesday tomorrow morning beginning at 8am.
  
   
• Curling Club tomorrow after school for Grades 6 – 8 students.    Please meet at the Iplex at 3:45pm and remember your clean running shoes.
  
   
• Senior Girls Basketball team will be having a mini tournament tomorrow after school.
  
   
• Growing Smiles Winter Fundraiser orders will be delivered on Wednesday afternoon.     Parents and Guardians need to make arrangements to have the orders picked up from the school.  
  
   
• Winter Band Concert will be held Thursday afternoon at 1pm.
  
   
  
   
• Grade 7 Art Class will be presenting a Christmas Play on Thursday afternoon immediately following the band concert.
  
   
• SLC will be hosting a Middle Years Dance this Thursday.  Details are as follows:

• Dance will run from 6:30 until 9:30
• Doors open at 6:30, close at 7:00
• Admission:  $5
• Store will be open during the dance
• Students may invite two guests from either Fairview, Central, Ecole Centennial, All Saints, Waldeck, Wymark, Success or Stewart Valley.  Guests MUST be in grades 6, 7 or 8.  Invitations are now available in the office.
• Dance invitations are due tomorrow at lunch.  Late invitations will not be accepted
• Students who are going to arrive late or leave early must place their name on an attendance list, see the office
  
   

• Application forms for Firearm Safety are now available in the office.    Deadline for applications is today.    Please hand forms, along with the $50 registration fee, into the office.      If you have any questions regarding this course, please see Mr. Grainger.
