Day 1

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Tayvin Dumont.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Grade 7 Swimming lessons today.   Next week lessons will run Tuesday through to Friday.
  
   
• Pizza Day order forms are due back today.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Chase Jasper and Bryden Tait.

• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Koby Cascagnette and Dallas McMurtry.

• Senior Girls Volleyball game today after school at Irwin.
  
   
• SLC decorating committee (Lexia, Payton, Rylan, Micaela, Lauren, Connor) please meet in Mrs. Tinant's classroom at 11:35 today and tomorrow.
  
   
• The activity committee of the SLC that are planning an activity for Halloween will meet in the French room today at lunch.  Please bring your lunch with you.
  
   
• Read and Relax Morning tomorrow morning, beginning at 8am.  Students and parents can enjoy some muffins, coffee and juice while reading in the gym or foyer.   A big thank-you to the SCC for sponsoring the muffins, juice and coffee.
  
   
• Mr. Kohlman and Mrs. Tsougrianis will be following through with their Administrative Antics from the Terry Fox ballots tomorrow.    There has been a change in their location so they will be working from the Courtyard instead of on the roof of the school.

• Lifetouch Picture Retake Day tomorrow, beginning at 12:45pm.
  
   
• Any grades 6 to 8 students who are interested in curling, please sign up on the bulletin board beside the office by Friday, October 25th.  Curling starts November 5th and runs every Tuesday from 3:45 - 4:45 until the end of February.  This may also include representing our school at playoffs.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Schommer or Mrs. Bertram.
  
   
• Grade 7 and 8 band students will be performing at a dessert fundraiser on Sunday, October 27 at 7pm at Centennial School. More information will be sent out next week.
  
   
• Active Play Registration Forms were sent home yesterday with Grade 1 – 6 students.    Forms are due back on Tuesday, October 29^th.    Please hand in to your homeroom teacher or at the office.
