Day 4

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Gage Fast, Josien Ramos, Lilah Regier and Emmy Wolfe.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
• Safety Patrollers – Please come down to the office following this morning's announcements to sign up for shifts for the week.
• Grade 4 – 8 Track day is today at SCCHS.  Records in each event are posted outside of the office.   Students may bring their own lunch or bring money to purchase lunch at the canteen provided.  We are asking that students stay at the SCCHS track for noon hour and not leave the premises unless a parent has communicated with Administration.
• Remember that track will mean something different to everyone.   Some of you will be aiming for personal bests, some will be trying to beat previous records, some of you will be looking to cheer on their friends and classmates and some will be looking forward to a day outside and getting the opportunity to try something new!   We hope that everyone can enter the day with a positive attitude!!
• Toast Tuesday tomorrow morning beginning at 8am.   This will be the last Toast Tuesday of the school year.
• Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Kendra Shumaker and Ava Wotypka.
• Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan and Taya Lee Dueck.
• Grade 7/8 Band Trip to Calgary Wednesday through to Friday.
• Middle Year's Playground climbing structure is not available for use until playing surface is installed and the concrete is fully set.   We are hoping to have playground available to students by Wednesday.
• Citizenship Award nomination forms are now available in the office.    Citizenship Awards are for Grade 6 – 8 students.   Students can be nominated by fellow students and/or staff members.   Deadline for nominations will be Wednesday.   
• Grade 8 students please remember to send your photo for the Grade 8 Farewell to Mrs. Thompson by this Friday.
• June Schedule for morning announcers and phone ambassadors are now available in the office.
