TODAY AT IRWIN:
- Happy Birthday to Aydynn Johnson, Ava Line, Matteo Ortega, Violet Schafer Mackenzie Smith and Jaxson Yates. Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
- Constable Tony Curti will be at Irwin today doing presentations to the Grade 5 – 8 students regarding social media.
- Store will be open today during morning break.
- SCCHS Senior Ardens are hosting a Pink Basketball Game to raise funds for a local family who is struggling with cancer. The Irwin Senior Basketball teams are going to help out with this worthy cause and will be hosting the following fundraising events this week at Irwin:
- Today to Friday - Penny Jar
- Students are encouraged to bring change to fill their class jar
- The class with the most change will win a pizza party
- Today - Hat and Basketball Jersey Day
- For $1.00, students can wear a hat, a basketball jersey or both
- Tomorrow – K – 4 Sock Hop
- K – 4 Students can bring a toonie for the Sock Hop taking place in the gym over the lunch break.
- Friday - Pizza Day
- The pizza sales this month will go toward the fundraiser.
- Today's phone ambassadors will be Carter Woytowich and Kendra Shumaker.
- Store will be open for Grade 4 students only today during the afternoon break.
- Senior Boys Basketball practice today after school.
- Intermediate Boys Basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7:15am.
- Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Lexia Nickel Duncan and Taya Lee Dueck.
- Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Chase Jasper and Zachary Potter.
- Grade 5 Skating tomorrow afternoon at Riverdene. Students will leave to walk to the rink at 12:30pm. Please remember your skates, helmets and WARM CLOTHES.
- Senior Girls Basketball game tomorrow after school at Irwin
- Intermediate Girls Red Basketball game tomorrow after school at All Saints
- Intermediate Girls Black Basketball game tomorrow after school at Central.
- Grade 7 ski trip on Friday.
- Morning Announcers and Phone Ambassadors please pick up your February schedules from the office.
