Day 5

TODAY AT IRWIN:

  • Happy Birthday today to Mya and Aiden Wiens.   Happy Birthday to Finn Irons, Em Juanillo, Sterling Chalk and Ethan Klassen who celebrated over the weekend.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
  • Safety Patrollers – Please come down to the office following this morning's announcements to sign up for shifts for the week.
  • Store will be open today during morning break.
  • Library Club today at lunch.
  • Wrestling practice today at lunch in the wrestling room.   Be dressed and ready to go by 11:50.
  • Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Sydney Grainger and Jorja Wilson.
  • Senior Boys Basketball practice today after school.
  • Toast Tuesday tomorrow morning beginning at 8am.
  • K – 4 Assembly tomorrow morning at 9:20 am.   Parents, grandparents and guardians are welcome to attend.
  • Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Tenille Willows and Aspyn Prefontaine.
  • Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Karley Tait and Brooklyn Dymeterko.
  • Senior Girls Basketball practice tomorrow after school.
  • K – 5 Christmas Concert "Crazy Carols" will be on Thursday:
    • Dress Rehearsal at 12:45pm – Extended family members are encouraged to attend this show.
    • Evening Program at 6:30pm.  Students are asked to be ready in their homerooms by 6:15pm.
  • Last day of classes is Friday.    There will be various activities going on that day for students.   Email will be sent home to parents today outlining details for Friday afternoon.
  • Pajama Day on Friday.
  • Pizza meal on Friday.
  • Due to the set-up of sound equipment for the Christmas concert, we are asking that all students stay completely off of the stage during open gym (no sitting, hanging out etc.) until after Thursday.  
  • In the library there is a large "Reading Rover".  If any students from K to Grade 8 read a good story from the library and fill out a book recommendation in the bucket and their name will be entered in a draw to take Rover home this Friday.  The draw will be made on Thursday to find Rover a new home!  Good luck and Good Reading!
