Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Marwa William.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Delaney Dyck and Memphis McMurtry.
• To conclude Education Week today will be "Dress Up to Share Your Culture" day.
  
• The last day of Grade 4 swimming lessons will be today.
• School Picture Retakes today beginning at 12:45pm. 
• Senior Girls Volleyball team will be headed to Medicine Hat this afternoon for the Dawg Pound Tournament.   Best of Luck.
• Intermediate and Senior Boys Volleyball teams will be playing the in Swift Current tournament this weekend.   Best of Luck.
• Monday's Morning Announcers will be.
• Monday's Phone Ambassadors will be.
• Please check the Lost and Found for your items.  There are several items in the elementary hallway as well.  Leftovers will be packed and donated after Friday.
• Watch for Mr. Darby's new hairdo this week. We reached our goal of raising $7000 for cancer research through the Terry Fox Run. Thanks to Mr. Darby for being such a good sport! 
• Irwin Clothing orders are due on Friday, October 26^th.    Online orders will be taken at  http://www.spiritwearcanada.ca/OM_Irwin/shop/home
• Curling season has arrived!  Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are invited to join the curling club.  The season runs from November 6th to February 26th.  Students from all the schools in Swift Current meet at the curling rink every Tuesday from 3:45 to 4:45.  Students are grouped based on their experience level, from beginner to advanced.  There are sliders and brooms available for students to use if they do not have their own equipment.  Please sign up by Tuesday, October 30th.  Sign up sheets are by the office.
• The next Student Leadership Team meeting will be on Tuesday, October 23^rd at 11:40 in the Library.  Bring your lunch.  All students are welcome to join.
