TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Store will be open today during morning break.

• Grade 7/8 Year-End Band students in Calgary today.  

• Ms. McWillie's Kindergarten class' field trip to the Public Library today.

• Windscape Colouring Contest for K – 4 students.    Pictures can be handed in to the office.   Deadline is Monday, June 11^th.
   
• The SaskAbilities are looking for volunteers to help run their Summer Fun Program.   This is eligible for Grade 8 students.     If you are interested, please come to the office and grab a Volunteer Application Form.    Deadline to submit applications is June 28^th.
   
• Irwin Clothing Order – Check out the t-shirts and hoodies in the front foyer.    Clothing can be ordered online at http://www.spiritwearcanada.ca/om_irwin/  Website can also be found on the Irwin School's website.  Deadline to order is June 11^th to guarantee delivery by June 20^th.   
   
• Orders for the 2017-2018 Yearbooks will be placed online this year at http://ybstore.friesens.com/stores/324200 .  Website can also be found on the Irwin School website.  Yearbooks are $32 each and need to be ordered by June 27^th.
  
  
• Reminder to all Middle Years students that they will no longer be able to use sports equipment on the front lawn.  They will need to go to the back field to play.

• Starting Monday, students will no longer be allowed to use lacrosse sticks during recess or breaks.
   
• Irwin Middle Years Track day is Tuesday June 12^th. You will be signing up for events with your homeroom teacher. All students can sign up between 3-6 events.  Records in each event is posted outside of the office and at the top of the student stairs. The canteen will also be open so you may bring a lunch or some money to buy your lunch.
  
  
• Reminder that Track will mean something different to everyone. Some of you will be aiming for personal bests, some will be trying to beat previous records, some of you will be looking to cheer on their friends and classmates and some will be looking forward to a day outside and getting the opportunity to try something new! We hope that everyone can enter the day with a positive attitude!!
