Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Congratulations to all the K - 5 students on a fantastic, festive performance at last night’s Christmas Concert.    A job very well done!!!

• Thank you so much to all the Grade 8 students who helped set up and and take down the chairs for the Christmas Concert.   That sure makes it a lot easier on all of the old teachers in the building and their fragile backs.   

• Ict Hut today at morning break

• Bookmarks and Keychains for the Rally for Rustyn Fundraiser will be sold again today.     Items will be available for purchase during morning break in Mrs. Michaluk’s room.  

• There will be no chess club this week.    Chess Club will resume in January.

• For the months of December and January, OM Irwin school will be supporting local families by collecting items for the new Community Fridge which is located on the corner of 2nd Avenue NE and Cheadle Street East, across from the Great Plains College. The Community Fridge supports anyone who is struggling to access food and personal items. Each Friday, the collected items will be dropped off by staff and students at the Community Fridge. We ask that each grade group bring donations to their classrooms during their specific week. This week, donations will be brought in by the Grade 6 students.

• Christmas Spirit Week this week and will be as follows:

• Today - Christmas Sweater Day:  can be ugly, bright & colourful…

• Tomorrow - Comfy Cozy Day:  wear comfy clothes, Christmas PJ’s, etc.

• Tomorrow is the Last Day of Classes. 

• December Assembly tomorrow morning at 10:30am.   Everyone is welcome to attend

• Pizza Hut Meal Day tomorrow.
