TODAY AT IRWIN:
Ice Hut today at morning break.
For the months of December and January, OM Irwin school will be supporting local families by collecting items for the new Community Fridge which is located on the corner of 2nd Avenue NE and Cheadle Street East, across from the Great Plains College. The Community Fridge supports anyone who is struggling to access food and personal items. Each Friday, the collected items will be dropped off by staff and students at the Community Fridge. We ask that each grade group bring donations to their classrooms during their specific week. This week, donations will be brought in by the Grade 7 students.
Chess Club today at lunch from 12:00-12:25 and on Friday from 11:35 - 12:00.
Intermediate Boys Basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7:30am.
Rally For Rustyn Family Movie Night Fundraiser tomorrow evening. Doors open at 6pm, movie starts at 6:30. Movie will be Home Alone. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to attend.
Our school SLC is hosting a Christmas Spirit Week next week and will be as follows:
Dec. 18 - Christmas Sock Day
Dec. 19 - Festive Headwear Day
Dec. 20 - Christmas Colour Day: red/green/white
Dec. 21 - Christmas Sweater Day: can be ugly, bright & colourful…
Dec. 22 - Comfy Cozy Day: wear comfy clothes, Christmas PJ’s, etc.
