If there are any Grade 6 - 8 students that are requiring a temporary student card to attend Spookerama, please stop by the office and let Mrs. Painchaud know. Those that have requested a temporary student card, please pick up at the office.
Grade 6 Students will continue their swimming lessons this week today through Thursday.
The October Assembly will be held this morning beginning around 10:30am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Today is Halloween!!! Students are welcome to dress in their costumes for the entire day. Costumes must:
fit under their full outdoor clothing for recesses
be comfortable enough for students to be able to sit in their desk and participate in learning activities
not be scary, graphic or too ghoulish (ie. fake blood)
not include weapons (plastic/toy knives & swords, etc. MUST be left at home)
masks may be worn during the costume parade only
If students are NOT wearing a costume, they may choose to wear:
black and orange or Irwin’s red and black school colors
wear Fall or Halloween inspired clothing and accessories or jewelry.
wear whatever they would normally wear to school. :)
Due to the busy nature of Halloween, tomorrow the SLC is hosting a PJ / Bed Head Day. Staff and students are invited to wear their pajamas and not do their hair for the day.
Grade 7/8 Jazz Band will begin this Thursday, November 2, at 7:45am. Meet in the band room!
