Day 3

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Ice Hut today during morning break for Grade 5 and 6 students.

• Lockdown Drill today at 11:20am.

• GSA today for Grades 6, 7 and 8 students in Michele’s room at 11:35am.   Bring your lunch and coloring supplies.

• Our SCC will be hosting Taco-in-a-Bag on Tuesday, January 24th.    Order forms will be sent home with students today and will be due back on Tuesday.

• Senior Girls Basketball team will have an exhibition game after school here at Irwin against All Saints. 

• The Intermediate Girls Basketball team will have practice tomorrow morning at 7:30am.

• Pink Shirt Day will be happening on Wednesday, February 15th.   Pink Shirt Order Forms were sent home with students yesterday for anyone wishing to purchase.    Orders are due back tomorrow.   Please hand in to your homeroom teacher. 

• Remember that tomorrow is our Beach Day spirit day.  Please remember to wear school appropriate clothing and that you will still be expected to go outside for recesses.  Bring clothing to keep warm while outside.

Upcoming Events:

• Winter Session of Kids in the Kitchen will begin Tuesday January 17th at 3:30 in the foods lab.

• Staff Meeting - January 18th 

• Shelter In Place Drill - January 19th 

• Speedy Creek Hoops Classic Tournament for Sr Girls and Boys Basketball teams - January 20th - 21st 

• Duck Cover Hold Drill - January 24th 

• Turn-Around Day - January 30th - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
