Day 1

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Grace Chant, Renny Chant and Nicholas Reilly

• Ice Hut today during morning break for Grade 5s and 6s. 

• Junior Girls Volleyball meeting in Miss Gillanders room at first break today. 

• Grade 6 Swimming Lessons today and tomorrow.. 

• This week is Education week.  Some events that are happening around Irwin are as follows:

• Today - Muffin and Read sponsored by the SCC
  Parents/Guardians are invited to come to read with their child/children from 8:45 - 9:24.   

• Tomorrow - Swift Current City Fire Department Fire Prevention Activities in the Gym for K-5

• There will be an inflatable bouncy house with fire prevention activities and a fire prevention week obstacle course. Each homeroom will spend approx. 20-30 minutes in the gym completing the activities. K-4s will have 30 minutes and the 5s will have 20 minutes each.  We will call homerooms to the gym. 

• The Fire Dept. will be here at approx. 8:00 to set up.  The gym will not be available at lunch or during the recesses. 

• Junior Girls Volleyball game tomorrow after school here at Irwin.

• Senior Girls Volleyball game tomorrow after school in Vanguard.

• Anyone in Grade 6-8 interested in helping plan SLC Halloween activities to please come to our next meeting tomorrow at 11:35 in the library.

• Subway Meal Day forms were sent home with students yesterday for our October 28th meal day.     Order forms are due back tomorrow..   Please hand in to your homeroom teachers.
