Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Ice Hut today during morning break for Grade 7s and 8s. 

• Grade 6 Swimming Lessons today to Thursday. 

• There will be jazz band tomorrow morning beginning at 7:45am.

• This week is Education week.  Some events that are happening around Irwin are as follows:

• Today - School Wide Art Project - K-4 in Period 3; 5 - 8 in Period 4

• Bronco 1-Read Visits today for the Grade 2 classes, starting at 1pm. 

• Tomorrow - Muffin and Read sponsored by the SCC
  Parents/Guardians are invited to come to read with their child/children from 8:45 - 9:24.   

• Thursday - Swift Current City Fire Department Fire Prevention Activities in the Gym for K-5

• There will be an inflatable bouncy house with fire prevention activities and a fire prevention week obstacle course. Each homeroom will spend approx. 20-30 minutes in the gym completing the activities. K-4s will have 30 minutes and the 5s will have 20 minutes each.  We will call homerooms to the gym. 

• The Fire Dept. will be here at approx. 8:00 to set up.  The gym will not be available at lunch or during the recesses. 

• Breakfast club starts this week.    Breakfast club will be held in the Home Ec Lab and will start at 8:15am. 

• Subway Meal Day forms were sent home with students yesterday for our October 28th meal day.     Order forms are due back this Thursday.   Please hand in to your homeroom teachers.
