Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Hailey Mackenzie.

• Thank you Irwin students and staff for making our Terry Fox Run event so successful! We raised a record breaking amount of funds with our campaign, with our current total at $10,740.70! Since we exceeded our fundraising goal, we will be spending this afternoon with DJ Darby having a dance and fun activities! We are all looking forward to seeing Mr. Froese's new look,  as he will be shaving his beard because we reached our goal! Thank you to Mr. Darby and Mr. Froese for volunteering to do fundraising incentives this year! Thank you to the members of Terry's Team for all their hard work in helping plan and organize this year's event! 

• Reminder to Grade 6 students that registration forms for Kids in the Kitchen are due next Wednesday, October 12th. A link to the Google Form was sent to families this week, and can also be accessed in the October newsletter. The fall session of Kids in the Kitchen will begin Tuesday, October 18th.

• Ice Hut will be starting next week, beginning on Tuesday during morning break?  Day 1,3,5 will be for Grade 5s and 6s. And Day 2,4,6 will be  for Grade 7s and 8s. 

• Thanksgiving Day on Monday - No School
