Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Willow McMurtry.   Happy Birthday to Timothy Arendt, Drayden Berggren, Kylynn Wall, Josh Wallace, Chelsea Benis and Rebecca Woelk who all celebrated over this past weekend. 

• Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball team for winning gold at the Herbert H.I.T. tournament on Saturday.   The girls played with a high level of skill and determination and represented the Irwin Ice well!  Great start to the season, girls!!

• The Junior girls' volleyball team will have a serving practice today at lunch, practice Tuesday morning from 7:30-4:30, and Wednesday after school 3:30-4:30. 

• We will be having our first fire drills of the school year today and tomorrow and they will take place at 11:20pm.

• Terry’s Team, please meet in the Art Room today at 11:35am.

• Grade 4 classes will continue their swimming lessons today through to Thursday.

• Intermediate Boys Volleyball game today after school in Herbert.

• Senior Girls volleyball practice this week Monday and Tuesday after school from 3:30-5:15pm.  

• SCC Meeting tonight at 6:30pm.

• Toast Tuesday begins tomorrow morning and is open to all students.    Any student wanting to come for toast and juice, please come down to the Ice Hut starting at 8:15am.

• Active Play for Grade 1 - 2 students tomorrow after school 

• Our Terry Fox Run will be held this Thursday during Period 3 and 4.  We are inviting staff and students to wear their Irwin School colors.    Parents and families are welcome to attend and join us in our Terry Fox Run.    

• Active Play for Grade 3 - 5 students Thursday after school.

• Intermediate Girls Volleyball game Thursday after school at All Saints.

• Senior Girls Volleyball game Thursday after school at Irwin.
