Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Danica Jackson.  Happy Birthday to Anup Rana, Ellie Smith, Mrs Ramage and Ms Williams who celebrated over the weekend.

• Students who are helping out with this year’s Terry Fox Run, please meet in the Art Room today at 11:35am 

• Irwin School SCC AGM will be held tonight at 6:00 PM with the regular and SCC regular meeting to follow at 7:00 PM. Both meetings are in the library. 

• Grade 6 Immunization Consent Forms are due back tomorrow.  Please hand in at the office.

• Terry Fox Kick Off Assembly at 10:30.  We will begin calling students to the gym after the morning recess

• Grade 2 classes will begin swimming lessons today.

UPCOMING EVENTS

• Fall Picture Day will take place on Thursday September 22nd for K - 8 students and on Friday, September 23rd for Kindergarten

• Grade 6 Immunizations will be held on Thursday, September 29th 

• Irwin staff and students will wear orange shirts on Thursday September 29th.   National Orange Shirt day is Friday, September 30th (no school for students)

• Teachers’ Convention on Friday, September 30th - No School for Students. 

• Grade 4 Swimming Lessons September 26 - 29th and October 3 - 6th 

• Terry Fox Run - October 6th
