Day 5

TODAY AT IRWIN: 

• Happy Birthday today to Owen Dwyer.

• Grade 6 Immunization Consent Forms are due back Tuesday, September 13th     Please hand in at the office.

• Irwin School's Terry Fox Run will be taking place on October 6th. Any staff members or students in Grades 6,7, 8 who are interested in helping to plan our Terry Fox event, please meet in the Art room today at 11:35. 

• Any Grade 3-8 students interested in running cross country this year, please sign up outside the office.  We will have an informational meeting today for those who are interested.

• Grade 2 classes will begin swimming lessons on September 12th through to the 22nd

• Fall Picture Day will take place on Thursday September 22nd for K - 8 students and on Friday, September 23rd for Kindergarten

• Grade 6 Immunizations will be held on Thursday, September 29th 

• Orange Shirt Day - Irwin staff and students will wear orange shirts on Thursday September 29th.   National Orange Shirt day is Friday, September 30th (no school for students)

• Teachers’ Convention on Friday, September 30th - No School for Students. 

• Grade 4 Swimming Lessons September 26th - 29th and October 3rd - 6th
