Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Payton Irons and Sophie Regier.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
• Swimming Lessons for the 61/62's today and next week, Monday, October 1^st – Thursday, October 4^th.
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Jaxon Yates and Rylan Choma.
• The Terry Fox Run takes place today. Classes will be called down to the gym at the end of Period 6. 
• Please return any pledges and pledge sheets to your homeroom teacher today. 
• If we meet our fundraising goal of $7,000 Mr. Darby will dye his hair. The class that brought in the most pledge sheets will get to pick the colour! 
• You can still purchase ballots during this morning's at break to vote for which stunt you'd like to see Mr. Kohlman and Mr. Biem do. Would you pay a dollar to see them ride a tricycle everywhere for a day? Or would you pay a dollar to see them perform a musical number for students? Vote as many times as you'd like for your favourite stunt. 
• Senior Girls Volleyball game today after school at Irwin.
• Irwin Ice Cross Country Freeze Up today at Riverside Park.  Good luck to all of our runners.
• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Tenille Willows and Aspyn Prefontaine.
• Tomorrow's Phone Ambassadors will be Delaney Dyck and Memphis McMurtry.
• K – 4 Assembly tomorrow morning at 11am.
• Pizza Day will be tomorrow and will run as follows:
• Kindergarten will receive and eat their pizza in their classroom
• Grade 1- 4 students will receive and eat their pizza in the gym.
• Grade 5-8 students will receive their pizza in the Upper Hallway and eat in their classrooms.
• Students in Grade 5 – 8 are welcome to eat with their K – 4 brothers, sisters and parents in the gym.
• Irwin will be hosting the SCCHS Senior Colts Volleyball team tomorrow at 1:30.    Irwin students and staff have been invited to cheer on the Colts.   We will call students to the gym at 1:30pm.
   
• Senior Boys and Girls Volleyballs teams are attending tournaments this weekend.   
• Senior boys are in Pontiex
• Senior Girls are in Herbert
