Cst Curti's TIP OF THE WEEK

I don't see it every day, but for the most part when I drive around the city, I see garbage all over the roads and parking lots. Mostly this garbage is fast food packages or bags. Somebody always picks it up thought because they don't like the appearance of how it looks (trashy). Who does this? Why do they do it? The answer is possibly that they are self-centered and don't really care about too much or it accidentally fell out of the vehicle caused by a huge gust of wind, and they didn't notice. The city has over a hundred public trash cans throughout the city for this one and only purpose.

Under The Environmental Management and Protection Act, the monetary penalty for littering via summary offence ticket is $500 for individuals.

If you know you know!!

Cst Tony Curti

LIBRARY QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Petrichor.

It was a strange word, an excellent word.

You know there's a word for that, right? Ali had said to me once. For that smell. The smell of water hitting the earth.
