BADMINTON
The Sr. badminton team hosted SWAC Districts on Saturday April 27th. Teams from all over the South West battled for the top 2 spots and the right to represent SWAC at SHSAA Regionals. Congratulations to the following athletes on their placings at Districts and best of luck to the boys doubles and mixed doubles teams who will be advancing to Regionals in Rosetown on Saturday May 4th: 

Michael L. - 4^th in boys singles
Danica S. - 4^th in girls singles
Nalani C. / Lauren H. - 3^rd in girls doubles
Austin E. / Tate U. - 2^nd in boys doubles
Saryn A. / Jacob P. - 2^nd in mixed doubles

BUSINESS CLUB
Excellent work Business Club students at Great Plains college on April 25! Thank-you to our community and school division judges as well as the college for hosting us. Thanks again to Mercator Financial, SWT and Whitecap Resources Inc for sponsoring our club to give them opportunities like this.

The next meeting will be on Thursday May 2 at noon in room 255.

GRADE 12s – GYMBLAST FRIDAY, MAY 3
Grade 12s on Friday, May 3^rd be sure to wear your Gym Blast team color and meet in the gym by 1:05pm.  
Please wear gym shoes and bring a water bottle.

Attention Class of 2024! Get ready for the upcoming Spirit Week that'll be on from April 29th-May 3rd! Here are the themes for each day:

Monday, April 29th: Lazy Day, come dressed in your comfiest clothes!
Tuesday, April 30th: Country vs Country Club, come dressed in your country attire or show off your best country club look!
Wednesday, May 1st: It's Adam Sandler Day, so channel your inner Adam Sandler core and have some fun!
Thursday, May 2nd: Memory Shirt Day, wear a white shirt and markers and get the Class of 2024 to sign it!
Friday, May 3rd: Colour Day, show your grad games team spirit by wearing your gym blast team's colour!

Let's make this Spirit Week one to remember! Go Class of 2024!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you a basketball player looking to give back to the sport?  Do you have a pretty strong grasp of the rules of the game? Are you willing to take up the whistle and learn how to do some officiating?  Swift Current's Jr. NBA is looking for some officials on Saturday, May 11 to officiate games for Grades 3-6. If you are interested, please come to Mr. Judge's room today or Monday at the start of lunch to pick up a registration form.
