Dear O.M. Irwin Parents and Guardians, 

Wow! It is hard to believe that we have already completed the first month of the school year!  We were very excited to welcome the students back and to see their excitement at returning to school.  During the first few days and weeks of school there was a very positive feeling in the school as they students were very happy to reconnect with their peers and meet their teachers.  The Irwin students have had an outstanding start to the school year, and they have been remarkable adjusting to the new routines and procedures outlined in the provincial, school division's, and school's reopen plans.  Congratulations students for your hard work and thank you for you for a great start to the year!   On behalf of the staff, we want to thank our parents and guardians for their amazing support in helping their child(ren) and the school staff have a great start.  Congratulations and thank you, parents and guardians!  We sincerely appreciate everything you have done in supporting the school's reopen plans.  Lastly, we want to thank our staff for their tremendous work to prepare our school for a very successful school year start-up.  The Irwin staff went above and beyond to plan for a safe, positive, and welcoming start to the school year for our students.  Congratulations and thank you to the Irwin staff!  In closing, the very positive start to the school year has laid the foundation for and created momentum for what will be a fabulous 2020/2021 school year.  Please do not hesitate to contact us or your child's teacher(s) if you have any questions.  Have a great month of October!
