Day 3

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Welcome back students to the 2020-2021 school year.   
• Today, all classes will remain with their homeroom teacher for the entire morning.
• The bell schedule for recess, lunch and end of day dismissal will look a little different this year.    Your homeroom teacher will go over the new schedule with you.
• Opening Day packages will be sent home to families today.   Parents will need to refer to the cover letter for instructions regarding the forms.
• The gym and library will be off limits to students for the first week of school.
• ALL students will be outdoors for recess, lunch and their Phys Ed classes for the first week of school.
• Students will need to remember to play in their assigned playground zone at recess and lunch.    There are signs around the playground indicating where the zones are located.
• Students will be required to eat their lunch in their homerooms for the year, until further notice.
• Reminder that there will be no students phones available this year.    Please contact the office if you need to call home.
• Please note this year, we have a closed campus for Gr. 6-8. Students will either have to remain at school for lunch or go home for lunch.
• END OF DAY DISMISSAL –  End-of-Day dismissal for the school year will be as follows: 
• 3:05 pm – K – Grade 2
• 3:10 pm – Grades 3 – 5
• 3:15 pm – Grades 6 – 8​
