Day 1

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday today to Shriya Desai, Brooklyn Hornung and Tate Leshures.     Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Store will be open today during morning break.

• Recycling – Please place recycle bins outside of classroom doors for pickup today.

• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Payton Irons, Bryden Tait and Ivy Huxted.
  
   
• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan, Payton Irons and Bryden Tait.
  
   
• Recess Guardians today for Kindergarten students interested in playing with Blake and Naimy from Grade 5 at lunch recess.  Kindergarten students, please look for Blake and Naimy in the yellow recess guardians t-shirts beside the swings, near the fence at lunch recess.  
  
   
• Grade 2 Swimming lessons today through to Thursday and next week Monday, March 16^th – Thursday, March 19^th.
  
   
• March Meal Day order forms were sent home with students on Friday.     This month we will be ordering from Burger King.   Order Forms are due back tomorrow.   Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
• Online portal for booking Parent Teacher Conferences is now open.     Information regarding PTC bookings was emailed to parents on Friday and is posted on the school's website.    Online portal will close on Friday at 3:30pm.
  
   
• Kids in the Kitchen today after school.   Today will be the last day for the winter session.    Spring session will start on Tuesday, March 31^st.    Lists are posted outside of the foods room. 
  
   
• City-Wide Kindergarten Orientation will be tonight at Irwin School beginning at 7pm.
  
   
• Correction from yesterday's announcements - SWAC Badminton tryouts will be held next Wednesday after school (March 18^th), not tomorrow as previously mentioned.  
  
   
• Grade 4 students have been invited to come and purchase items at the school store on Thursday during the afternoon break.
