TODAY AT IRWIN:
- Happy Birthday today to Tamara Empey. Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
- December Newsletter and Calendar were emailed to parents and posted to the website yesterday. There are paper copies available in the office.
- Store will be open today during morning break.
- Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Lauren Hanson and Raylin Poh.
- Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Sydney Grainger, Dallas McMurtry and Lauren Hanson.
- Art Club today at lunch.
- Senior Boys Basketball practice today after school.
- Active Play for Grade 3 - 6 students today after school – 3:15 – 5:15pm.
- Pita Day tomorrow. Thank you to the Senior Girls Basketball for putting on this fundraiser.
- Irwin School clothing is now available on the Irwin School clothing website. Sheets are posted throughout the school with examples of what you can buy, and the website is on there as well. Sizers are available in the office for you to try on. The website closes tomorrow at 3:15pm. The link will also be available on our school website.
- Senior Boys Basketball team will be having a mini tournament on Monday, December 9th after school
- Senior Girls Basketball team will be having a mini tournament on Tuesday, December 10th after school.
- SLC will be hosting a Middle Years Dance on Thursday, December 12th. Details are as follows:
- Dance will run from 6:30 until 9:30
- Doors open at 6:30, close at 7:00
- Admission: $5
- Store will be open during the dance
- Students may invite two guests from either Fairview, Central, Ecole Centennial, All Saints, Waldeck, Wymark, Success or Stewart Valley. Guests MUST be in grades 6, 7 or 8. Invitations are now available in the office.
- Dance invitations are due TUESDAY, December 10th at 12:20pm, late invitations will not be accepted
- Students who are going to arrive late or leave early must place their name on an attendance list, see the office
- Application forms for Firearm Safety are now available in the office. Deadline for applications is Monday, December 9th. Please hand forms, along with the $50 registration fee, into the office. If you have any questions regarding this course, please see Mr. Grainger.
