TODAY AT IRWIN:
- Happy Birthday to Sara Gonzalez. Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
- Recycling – Please place recycle bins outside of classroom doors for pickup today.
- Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan, Koby Cascagnette and Lauren Hanson.
- Tomorrow's mornings announcers will be Chase Jasper, Koby Cascagnette and Alex Giverhaug.
- Senior Girls Basketball practice today after school from 3:30 – 5:00pm.
- Kids in the Kitchen today after school.
- Curling Club for Grade 6 – 8 students today after school. Please meet at the Iplex at 3:45pm and remember your clean running shoes.
- Bronco I-Read program for Grade 2 students tomorrow afternoon at 1:10pm in the library.
- Parent Teacher Conferences tomorrow from 4pm – 7pm.
- Active Play for Grade 1 – 2 students tomorrow after school – 3:15 – 5:15pm.
- Senior Girls Basketball team will have an additional practice this week on Thursday morning at 7am.
- Active Play for Grade 3 -6 students Thursday after school – 3:15 – 5:15pm.
- Pita order forms are due back to school on Thursday. Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
- K – 4 Assembly on Thursday at 2:05pm. Parents, guardians and grandparents are welcome to attend.
- Farewell Assembly for Mrs. Varjassy and Mrs. Griffin on Thursday during Period 8.
- Deadline for Growing Smiles Winter Fundraiser is Thursday. Please forward orders, along with payment, on for before November 28th.
- NO SCHOOL on Friday. This is in lieu of Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, December 2 due to Professional Development day for teachers.
- Irwin School clothing is now available on the Irwin School clothing website. Sheets are posted throughout the school with examples of what you can buy, and the website is on there as well. Sizers are available in the office for you to try on. The website closes on December, 9. The link will also be available on our school website.
- Application forms for Firearm Safety are now available in the office. Deadline for applications is Monday, December 9th. Please hand forms, along with the $50 registration fee, into the office. If you have any questions regarding this course, please see Mr. Grainger.
