Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Koby Cascagnette, Kasen Reid and Dallas McMurtry.
  
   
• Tomorrow mornings announcers will be Ava Wotypka, Jorja Wilson and Kasen Reid.
  
   
• Online bookings for Parent-Teacher Conferences will continue to be open for today and tomorrow.     Parents have been emailed information regarding online bookings last week.    Information is also posted in the November newsletter and on the school's website.
  
   
• Active Play for Grade 3 – 6 students today after school until 5:15pm.
  
   
• Grade 8 swimming lessons today and tomorrow.
  
   
• Shelter-in-Place Drill today at 1:35pm.
  
   
• This weekend the Saskatchewan Riders will be hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a showdown to try to get to the Grey Cup.  To support our team Friday will be Rider Day at Irwin.  Wear your Rider Gear or any Green or sports gear to school and don't forget to cheer on our team!  Goooooooo Riders!
  
   
• Camille Bell will be at Irwin tomorrow to present to our students.   Her presentation is on Metis Dance and Metis Culture. 
  
   
• Lifetouch Retake Order Forms will be due back tomorrow.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
  
   
• Pizza Order Forms are due back tomorrow.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
• Senior Girls Basketball tryouts will begin on Tuesday, November 19^th.    Sign-up sheets are now posted outside of the office.    If you are only wanting to play intermediate basketball this season, you do not need to sign up for tryouts, there will be more information regarding intermediate basketball at a later date.
  
   
• Senior Boys Basketball tryouts will be on Monday, November 18^th from 3:15 – 5:00pm.  Please sign up in the office hallway   
  
   
• Application forms for Firearm Safety are now available in the office.    Deadline for applications is Monday, December 9^th.    Please hand forms, along with the $50 registration fee, into the office.      If you have any questions regarding this course, please see Mr. Grainger.
