Day 2

TODAY AT IRWIN:

  • IMPORTANT – Students need to remain off of the North Irwin Field today as the High School Soccer Provincials are taking place and teams will using our field. 

 

  • Mr. Kohlman and Mrs. Tsougrianis will be following through with their Administrative Antics from the Terry Fox ballots today.    There has been a change in their location so they will be working from the Courtyard instead of on the roof of the school.

     
  • In conjunction with the Read and Relax Morning this morning, there will be buddy groups in Period 1.    We will bring muffins around to the classrooms for anyone who didn't get one.  The groups will be as follows:

1S – 5D

1B – 81

2 Regier – 5FA

2 Rob – 61

3 H - 62

3 N – 71

82 – 4G

72********** will go to PAA classes as requested by PAA teacher

 

 

  • Lifetouch Picture Retake Day will be today, beginning at 12:45pm.    Photographer will be set up on the stage – please use the stage entrance from the shop hallway

     
  • Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan and Payton Irons.

 

  • Tuesday's Morning Announcers will be Bryden Tait and Payton Irons.

 

  • SLC decorating committee (Lexia, Payton, Rylan, Micaela, Lauren, Connor) please meet in Mrs. Tinant's classroom at 11:35 today.

     
  • Senior Volleyball teams will be competing in SuperVolley this weekend at SCCHS.   Best of luck to both teams

     
  • Grade 7 and 8 band students will be performing at a dessert fundraiser on Sunday at 7pm at Centennial School.   Please arrive at 6:30pm.

     
  • Teachers' Conference on Monday – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS

     
  • Grade 7 Swimming Lessons next week Tuesday through to Friday.

     
  • Any grades 6 to 8 students who are interested in curling, deadline to sign up is today.    Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board beside the office.  Curling starts November 5th and runs every Tuesday from 3:45 - 4:45 until the end of February.  This may also include representing our school at playoffs.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Schommer or Mrs. Bertram.

     
  • Active Play Registration Forms were sent home yesterday with Grade 1 – 6 students.    Forms are due back on Tuesday, October 29th.    Please hand in to your homeroom teacher or at the office.
