Day 6

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Hudson Haydon, Molly Mason and Lexia Nickel-Duncan.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Grade 7 Swimming lessons today and tomorrow.   Next week lessons will run Tuesday through to Friday.
  
   
• The Halloween Costume Parade & Contest Committee (Sydney G., Brooklyn D., Jorja W., Danika & Jorja P.) will meet at 11:35 in the library today.  Please bring your lunch.
  
   
• Any grades 6 to 8 students who are interested in curling, please sign up on the bulletin board beside the office by Friday, October 25th.  Curling starts November 5th and runs every Tuesday from 3:45 - 4:45 until the end of February.  This may also include representing our school at playoffs.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Schommer or Mrs. Bertram.
  
   
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Payton Irons and Bryden Tait.

• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan and Payton Irons.

• Senior Boys Volleyball practice today after school.
  
   
• Pizza Day has been rescheduled to next Friday, November 1^st    Order forms were sent home with students yesterday and are due back tomorrow.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  
   
• Senior Girls Volleyball game tomorrow after school at Irwin.
  
    
• Read and Relax Morning on Friday, beginning at 8am.  Students and parents can enjoy some muffins, coffee and juice while reading in the gym or foyer.   A big thank-you to the SCC for sponsoring the muffins, juice and coffee.
  
   
• Lifetouch Picture Retake Day on Friday, beginning at 12:45pm.
  
   
• Grade 7 and 8 band students will be performing at a dessert fundraiser on Sunday, October 27 at 7pm at Centennial School. More information will be sent out next week.
