Day 4

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Nicholas Reilly who celebrated over the weekend.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Congratulations to the Intermediate Boys' Volleyball teams for a great tournament this weekend.  The Irwin 1 Team came in fourth and the Irwin 2 Team received silver medals, placing 2nd.  Due to the election tonight, Intermediate Boys' volleyball games have been moved to Tuesday, October 22nd, after school.
  
   
• Grade 7 Swimming lessons will begin today through to Thursday.
  
   
• Any grades 6 to 8 students who are interested in curling, please sign up on the bulletin board beside the office by Friday, October 25th.  Curling starts November 5th and runs every Tuesday from 3:45 - 4:45 until the end of February.  This may also include representing our school at playoffs.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Schommer or Mrs. Bertram.
  
   
• Elections Canada will have polling stations set up in the gym today, therefore the gym will be closed to staff and students for the entire day.
  
   
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Chase Jasper and Bryden Tait.

• Tomorrow's Morning Announcers will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan and Payton Irons.

• Toast Tuesday tomorrow morning beginning at 8am.   Please remember to keep the foyer clean
  
   
• Kids in the Kitchen tomorrow after school
  
   
• Intermediate Boys' Volleyball games tomorrow. Teams meet in the foyer right after school.  Irwin 1 plays at Irwin, and Irwin 2 travels to Stuart Valley.

• Grade 7 and 8 band students will be performing at a dessert fundraiser on Sunday, October 27 at 7pm at Centennial School. More information will be sent out next week.

• Pizza Day has been rescheduled to next Friday, November 1^st    Order forms will be sent home with students today and will be due back on Thursday.
