Day 2
TODAY AT IRWIN:
Happy Birthday to Logan Erasmus, Gabriel Emperingham and Evan Militar who all celebrated over the weekend. Please come down to the office to receive your birthday pencil.
Safety Patrollers – Please come down to the office following this morning's announcements to sign up for shifts for the week.
Today's phone ambassadors will be Kadence Olfert and Memphis McMurtry.
K – 3 Track/Play Day will be held today.
Mrs. Dyck's Kindergarten Year-End Celebration will be held this afternoon in the Library.
Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Zach Kielo and Eric Hattum.
Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Sydney Grainger and Jorja Wilson.
Tomorrow is Hat Day. Pay $2 to wear a hat during school on Tuesday. All money raised will go towards Plan Canada's Clean Water for Families program. Ask your homeroom teacher to watch a short video on why we're trying to help.
Year End Swimming will be as follows:
Tuesday – Grade 2 – 4 students 12:30 – 2:45pm
Wednesday – Grade 5 – 6 students 9:00 – 11:15am
Wednesday – Grade 7 – 8 students 12:30 – 2:45pm
Grade 2 Field Trip to Morse Museum on Wednesday
Last Day of Classes is on Wednesday.
Report Cards mailed on Thursday.
A reminder to Grade 6 – 8 students that walk to 7-Eleven at lunch break… students are not allowed to bring a M, L, or XL slurpee into school. Students are only allowed to bring a
small sized slurpee
into school. These guidelines also include super big gulps.
A reminder to students attending open gym – all students must wear running shoes during open gym time. Open toed shoes or sandals are NOT ALLOWED!
Middle Year's Playground climbing structure is now open to students. The Grade 4-5 students can use it during the AM and PM breaks. The Grade 6-8 students can use it at lunch
Could students please check the boot-racks. There are several pairs of brand new boots in the Gr 5 boot racks. We have shown both of the Gr 5 classes and they say they don't belong to them.
Clothing orders should arrive soon.
