Day 5
TODAY AT IRWIN:
- Today's phone ambassadors will be Sydney Grainger and Jorja Wilson.
- Ms. McWillie's Kindergarten class trip to Pizza Hut this morning.
- Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Tenille Willows, Grace Thierman and Mikenna Painchaud.
- Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Lexia Nickel-Duncan and Taya-Lee Dueck.
- Grade 6 – 8 Band Concert will be tonight at 7pm. There will be a dress rehearsal this afternoon at 2:30pm.
- All student library books are now overdue. Please return or pay for lost or damaged books right away. Mr. Siemens' Grade 4 class is the latest class to have all their books returned and will get a prize for being the third class to have all their books dealt with. There are 4 more classes that could win a prize and many of them have only 1 or 2 books left to be returned or paid for. Who will be next???
- Middle Year Awards Day/Night will be held tomorrow and will run as follows:
- Grade 6 – 1pm
- Grade 7 – 2pm
- Grade 8 – 7pm
Grade 8 students are asked to be in their homerooms by 6:30pm on Thursday evening.
- Pizza Day on Friday.
- K – 3 Track/Play Day on Friday
- A reminder to Grade 6 – 8 students that walk to 7-Eleven at lunch break… students are not allowed to bring a M, L, or XL slurpee into school. Students are only allowed to bring a small sized slurpee into school. These guidelines also include super big gulps.
- A reminder to students attending open gym – all students must wear running shoes during open gym time. Open toed shoes or sandals are NOT ALLOWED!
- Middle Year's Playground climbing structure is now open to students. The Grade 4-5 students can use it during the AM and PM breaks. The Grade 6-8 students can use it at lunch
- Clothing orders should arrive sometime this week.
