  Day 1

  TODAY AT IRWIN:

  • Happy Birthday to Tyler Olfert.  Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
  • Pita orders are due first thing this morning.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
  • A big "THANK YOU" to the Irwin School Community for their fundraising for the Pink Game.   Irwin School raided $3,000.00 for the local family facing cancer.
  • Store will be open today during morning break.
  • Library Club today at lunch.
  • Today's phone ambassadors are Sydney Grainger and Jorja Wilson.
  • Grade 2 Swimming Lessons next week Monday to Thursday.
  • Monday's morning announcers will be Sydney Grainger and Jorja Wilson.
  • Monday's phone ambassadors will be Chase Jasper and Zachary Potter.
  • Senior Boys Basketball semi-final game against Fairview Monday after school at Irwin.  Please come out and cheer the boys on!!!!
  • Senior Girls Basketball semi-final game Tuesday after school at Irwin.
  • 2019-2020 City Wide Kindergarten Registration will be Tuesday evening at Irwin beginning at 7pm.
  • Mornings announcers and phone ambassadors can now pick up their March schedules from the office. 
  • It's time to show your talents, Irwin!  We know we have some singers and dancers out there, but what about comedians, poets, musicians, jugglers, yo-yo tricksters, gymnasts, actors or mimes? We want any grade 5-8 student with talent to come and audition for this year's talent show, which will be on Thursday, March 28th in the afternoon. If you don't have a talent, but you'd like to participate, sign up for the backstage crew we need people to help with sound, lights and the set. 
    
    There will be sign-up sheets outside the office starting next week and auditions will be held on Wednesday, March 13th after school in the band room if you are going to wear a costume or need music to showcase your talent you will need to have it at the time of the audition.  
    
    For talent show participants, there will be practices during lunch hours and some after schools, the schedule will be given out after the auditions are over.
