Day 1

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy to Kasia Gatzke.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
• Today is Christmas Spirit Day.   Students are encouraged to wear Christmas colours, hats, sparkle, etc.
• Pizza Forms went home yesterday for the December 21^st Pizza Day.   Forms are due back on Thursday.  Please hand in to your homeroom teacher.
• STEAM Club today at lunch beginning at 11:50 in the Art Room.    This is for Grade 4 – 8 students.
• Christmas Card craft today at lunch in the library.
• Today's Phone Ambassadors will be Carter Woytowich and Kendra Shumaker.
• Curling Club today after school at 3:45 at the Iplex.  Remember to bring your clean running shoes.
• Active Play for Grade 1 – 2 students today after school in the gym / foyer.   This will be the last week of Active Play.
• Tomorrow's morning announcers will be Lexia Duncan and Taya Lee Dueck.
• Tomorrow's phone ambassadors will be Chase Jasper and Zachary Potter.
• Active Play for Grade 3 – 6 students tomorrow after school.
• Pita Day on Thursday.
  
• In the library there is a large "Reading Rover".  If any students from K to Grade 8 read a good story from the library and fill out a book recommendation in the bucket then their name will be entered in a draw to take Rover home just before Christmas.  The draw will be made on December 20th to find Rover a new home!  Good luck and Good Reading!
