TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Mosi William.  Please come down to the office to receive your birthday pencil.

• Recycling – Please place your recycling bins outside your classroom doors for pick-up this morning.
   
• Library Club today at lunch.
   
• Shop Club today after school for Grade 8 students.
   
• Kids in the Kitchen today after school for Grade 6 students.   The last day for the winter session will be next Tuesday, March 13^th.   The spring session will begin on Tuesday, April 10^th.
   
• Senior Boys Basketball playoff game today after school at Fairview.
   
• Senior Girls Basketball playoff game today after school at Irwin.
   
• City-Wide Kindergarten Registration Night for the 2018/2019 school year will be held at Irwin tonight, beginning at 7pm.
   
• O.M. Irwin Dessert Night Auction Fundraiser will take place this Thursday.   Doors will open at 6:30pm and the auction will begin at 7pm.    There is free admission, will be free raffles and silent auction items.   Dessert and beverages will be provided.     We encourage all students and their families to come out and support this event.
   
• Badminton Try-outs for Grade 6, 7 and 8 students will be held next week.    Sign-up sheets are posted outside of the office.
   
• Deadline for submitting entries for the creative writing contest is March 13^th.  All entries will eligible for a school book draw and may be published by the Young Writers' Organization.  If you have questions, please see your teacher or Mr. Biem.
